He persevered as the Aussie bowlers’ balls bounced like bullets. He faced 140 balls and remained unbeaten on 103 runs. It has 8 boundaries and a six. This is the first century for England in the Ashes series.
England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who has been failing in a row for the past few seasons, also made his mark in the Sydney Test. He scored 66 and defended the struggling England team.
