Cricket matches are usually stopped in between if it is raining or the weather is unfavorable. There have also been incidents where matches have been stopped when dogs and other animals enter the field. Similarly, there have been instances where cricket has been interrupted for a while when fans and bystanders come on the ground. However, an unexpected turn of events took place on Sunday in the second Test between Team India and New Zealand in Mumbai. The spider covering the match came low to the camera pitch and stopped unintentionally. Immediately the ground staff came into the field and tried to solve the problem. Hundreds tried to pull it up. But could not. Unsure of what to do with it, the umpires announced a tea break ahead of schedule. The incident came after Kiwis batsman Tom Latham turned LB for the last ball of the fourth over in New Zealand’s second innings.
Hey .. go up ..
TeamIndia cricketers on the field had fun playing when the Spider camera stopped rather than eto. Captain Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav stood in front of the camera and signaled, “Hey, get out of here.” Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also posed with the camera on his shoulders at the Bahubali range. After that Shreyas Iyer along with other cricketers also played with the camera. Scenes related to these have gone viral on social media. Netizens also flocked with the memes. In the Mumbai Test, New Zealand, who started the second innings with a huge target of 540, were 140 for five by the close of play on the third day. Ashwin took three wickets. With two more days left in the game, TeamIndia’s victory is no longer a formality.

The spider camera got stuck near the pitch which prompted the umpires to call for tea on Day 3 of the second Test between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
