The first day of the Johannesburg Test was not as good as the Indian team had hoped. Captain Virat Kohli was injured and the team suffered a setback before the start of the match. The team was then bowled out for a low score. Also, by the end of the game, fast bowler Mohammad Siraj was injured in his over and leaving the field became a new headache for Team India.

Team India bowling in the last session of the first day. Only 7 more balls left to finish the game. As Mohammad Siraj continued the over, he started running round the wicket for the last ball. But, when it came time to release the ball he seemed to be holding his right thigh close to the stumps and suffering.

Team physio Nitin Patel, who saw Siraj’s condition, immediately rushed to the ground and started talking to Siraj. The day the game is over. So the physio decided to take Siraj off the field without checking him on the field.
