Along with Rahane, injured opener Shubhman Gill has also ruled out out-of-form Ishant Sharma. Announced the final squad with a total of 15 players in the squad. Of these, four were reserve players. The Indian team will play three Tests and three ODIs as part of the tour. The South African Cricket Board (CSA) has also released a new schedule to this effect. The BCCI is likely to announce the Indian squad for the tour of South Africa this evening.
