India captain Rohith Sharma will achieve another feat. He is the player who has played the most T20 matches with the Sri Lanka Series (IND vs SL). The 3-match series begins on February 24. Rohit Sharma is set to overtake Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik in the list of the most capped players in T20I cricket with this series. Rohit is already the most capped Indian player. If he plays a total of 3 matches against Sri Lanka, Malik will set a new world record by surpassing the number of 124 matches.
Only 9 cricketers have played more than 100 matches in the men’s T20I. Rohit is the only Indian on the elite list. MS Dhoni (98) is second on the list of Indians who have played the most T20s, while Virat Kohli is third with 97 matches.
