Corona fangs once again in the country. With this all the states have already gone into the framework of sanctions. The impact of the epidemic has now been felt on the upcoming India-West Indies series. The Windies series kicks off on February 6, shortly after the safari tour is over. There are three ODIs and three T20I matches between the two teams. The matches are scheduled to be played in Jaipur, Visakhapatnam, Cuttack, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. However, with the Corona effect, matches will now be played in only two cities. The three ODIs will be played in Ahmedabad and the T20I in Kolkata.

The BCCI said the decision was taken to reduce the biosecurity threat posed by the corona and to reduce the travel of players, staff, officials and broadcasters as much as possible. The Windies board also agreed to the proposals. The series will take place between February 6-20.

February 11 – Third ODI – Ahmedabad
February 16- First T-20- Kolkata
February 18 – Second T20 – Kolkata

NEWS B: BCCI announces revised venues for home series against West Indies.
The three ODIs will now be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and three T20Is will be held at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
