Ahmedabad is the venue for the ongoing ODI series (India vs West Indies, 1st ODI) The Indian bowlers performed brilliantly in the first match. The Indian bowlers wreaked havoc on the Windies batting first. The West Indies were all out for just 176. Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal did the most damage to the West Indies. Yuzvendra Chahal(Yuzvendra Chahal) Took 4 wickets. Washington Sundar (Washington Sundar) Took three wickets. Prasidh Krishna also bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets. Jason Holder was the top scorer for the West Indies with a fantastic innings of 57 runs. Fabian Allen also scored 29 runs. The West Indies were able to reach 176 with a half-century partnership between the two.
India fielding and bowling under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma is excellent. All the three decisions taken by the DRS went in favor of India. Winning the toss and bowling first proved that the decision was not wrong. Although the West Indies’ top order started well, none of the West Indies batsmen were able to score as much as the Indian bowling attack. Even in the middle overs, the Indian bowlers did not give any concessions and Team India benefited.

West Indies wicketkeeper Shai Hope gave a strong start. He showed signs of being in his form by hitting two fours. Siraj, on the other hand, bowled Shay Hope in his innings to give the West Indies the first blow. Following this, Brandon King and Darren Bravo took the game into the 11th over. But that changed with the arrival of Washington Sundar. In the 12th over, Sundar first dismissed Brandon King and then added Darren Bravo to the pavilion as LBW. After this, Rohit Sharma fielded Yuzvendra Chahal. In the 20th over, Nicholas Pooran broke the West Indies back by dismissing skipper Kieran Pollard off two balls in a row. West Indies lost 5 wickets in the 20th over. Chahal Shemron Brooks was also dismissed in the 22nd over. In the next over, the famous Krishna added Akhil Hussain to the pavilion in his bowling.
Jason Holder and Fabian Allen save the West Indies from trouble. Together they added 78 off 91 balls for the 8th wicket. Jason Holder batted brilliantly and completed his half-century off 58 balls with the help of 6 fours. The pair turned dangerous and were separated by Washington Sundar in the 38th over. Later in the 41st over, Prasidh Krishna dismissed the holder and struck another blow to the Windies. The Windies collapsed to 176 in just 43.5 overs when Chahal Alzari dismissed Joseph at the end.
