An FIR has been registered against Adil Durani in Mysore. A young woman from Iran filed a rape case against him. An FIR has been registered against Adil under Section 376 of the IPC.
In the FIR, the young woman alleged that Adil had raped her, believing that he would marry her. She said that he had asked her to marry him five months ago and had refused. Also, he said that such relationships are nothing new to him, that he has many young women.
