Kerala-based popular music band Taikkudam Bridge has alleged that the Varaha form of the Kannada blockbuster Kantara is a copy of their song. This music band released the Varaha form song five to five years ago under the name Navarasam. Meanwhile, this song has 42 lakh views on YouTube. Looking at both this Navarasa song and Varaha form, there is not much difference. The music band Tekkudam Bridge is accusing the orchestra of Navarasa song as being taken verbatim from Varaharupam song in Kantara. They say that at least they are not getting any compensation for using this song. They say that they will fight a legal battle over this. Sharing the complaint on their official social media, Taikkudam Bridge tagged Kantara movie producer, music director and director.
On the other hand, Kantara film music director Ajaneesh is denying these allegations. It is said that both the songs sound the same due to the use of the same raga. However, the producers and director of the film have not yet responded to these allegations. On the other hand, the collections of this movie are booming at the box office.
