As Krishna Raj was associated with politics, all the leaders apart from the party are mourning his death. The party leaders are recalling their association with Krishna Raju as he worked in the BJP for a long time. BJP Andhra Pradesh President Somu Veerraju, Telangana President Bandi Sanjay, former Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao and many BJP leaders have expressed deep grief over the death of Krishnam Raju. BJP leaders in separate condolence statements said that the news of his death has come as a shock. AP BJP president Somu Veerraju stated that the death of Krishna Raju, the former member of parliament who served as a Union minister from Ubhaya Godavari districts, is sad and he prays to God to rest his soul. He said that he has made his mark in the development of BJP. Krishnam Raju spoke to the family members on the phone and told them courage. The condolence statement said that he won the hearts of the people by doing many development programs as Union Minister.
Telangana BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said in his condolence statement that the untimely death of senior BJP leader, famous film actor and former Union minister UV Krishnam Raju is sad. Krishnam Raju’s services as a Member of Parliament and Union Minister of State are unforgettable. Krishnan Raju, who has served as a journalist, photographer, film actor and politician, is hailed as a great actor who has won five Filmfare and three Nandi awards in the field of cinema. He said that the death of Krishnamraju, who was loved in the hearts of moviegoers as a ‘rebel star’, is a great loss for the BJP and the Telugu people as well as the silver screen.

Former Governor of Maharashtra Vidyasagar Rao also expressed shock over Krishna Raju’s death. He said that the news of his death hurt him deeply. In his obituary, Vidyasagar Rao recalled that they were his good friends and never lost friendship with him in any party. It is said that Atal Bihari joined the BJP with the intention of making Vajpayee the Prime Minister and contested as a member of the Lok Sabha and won. Vidyasagar Rao praised Chaitanya who acted in many films and touched Telugu people through cinema. His death is a loss to BJP party, Telugu people and film artists. In the condolence statement, he said that he is praying to God to rest the soul of Krishna Raja.
BJP Andhra Pradesh State General Secretary Vetukuri Suryanarayana Raje also expressed his condolences on the death of former Union Minister Krishnam Raju. Rebel Star Krishnam Raju’s death is sad. He has acted in more than 187 films and his work as Union Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s cabinet is exemplary. He said on Twitter that he is praying to God to bring peace to his soul and to grant courage to his family members. Suryanarayana Raju recalled his association with Krishna Raja on this occasion.
