A total of 204 players were sold in the two-day IPL Mega (IPL 2022 Auction) auction. Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Punjab have each completed a maximum quota of 25 players. The Lucknow team has only 21 players. Other teams include Gujarat, Sunrisers Hyderabad with 23 players, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals with 24 players and Royal Challengers Bangalore with 22 players. Before the auction, 2 to 4 players were retained on each team. That means Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Rajasthan bought 21 players in a two-day auction. Punjab Kings have acquired 23 players, while Delhi, Gujarat and Hyderabad have acquired 20 players. Bangalore bought 19 players and Lucknow 18 players.
