Prabhas Birthday Special: Telugu people are praising Prabhas as ‘First International Star of India’. Perhaps these compliments are not palatable to the northerners. Because before Prabhas, people like Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri and Irrfan Khan from Hindi cinema have also acted in Hollywood movies. But, it can be said that the success of a regional hero in the national and international arena was possible only in the case of Prabhas. Therefore, there is no mistake in glorifying Prabhas as the ‘First International Star of India’. Currently, Prabhas’ name is ringing in Yavadbharatam. Prabhas’ performance as ‘Baahubali’ entertained everyone. Since then, the film fans of our country and Indians abroad have been watching Prabhas’ films with rapt eyes. After the ‘Bahubali’ series, Prabhas’ films ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radhesyam’ failed to impress at that level. However, it must be said that the craze for Prabhas’ films has not decreased. Prabhas starrer ‘Aadipurush’ has already opened up some controversies. However, fans are eagerly waiting to see the movie. That is Prabhas stardom.
Prabhas was born on 23 October 1979 as Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju. Prabhas is the youngest son of Suryanarayana Raju, the younger brother of rebel star Krishnam Raju. Suryanarayana Raju produced films like ‘Bhakta Kannappa, Amardeepam, Shivamettina Satyam, Bobbili Brahmana, Thandrapaparayudu’ under the banner of Gopikrishna Movies with Krishna Raju as the hero. Krishnamraju stood in people’s minds as a rebel star. Prabhas, who followed the same path and chose acting, impressed his fans as a ‘young rebel star’. In 2002, Prabhas came before the public as a hero for the first time with the movie ‘Eshwar’. Later Prabhas impressed as ‘Raghavendra’. The film ‘Varsham’ produced by MM Raju gave Prabhas his first major success. After that movie, they tried to impress the masses. They wanted to show diversity. But, Rajamouli ‘Chhatrapati’ made Prabhas a mass hero. The ‘Young Rebel Star’ went down with that one film.

After ‘Chhatrapati’, Prabhas’ film journey saw films like ‘Poornami, Yogi, Munna, Bujjigadu, Billa, Ek Niranjan, Darling, Mr. Perfect, Rebel’. Among these, Prabhas acted with Pedananna Krishnamraj in films like ‘Billa, Rebel’ which impressed the fans. After ‘Chhatrapati’, only ‘Mirchi’ could give Prabhas that level of success again. After ‘Mirchi’, Prabhas made a special appearance in Prabhu Deva’s Hindi film ‘Action Jackson’. In 2015, Prabhas appeared in front of the public as ‘Baahubali’ for the first time. With the overwhelming success of that movie, he became a star at the national level. After that Prabhas felt good in the international market along with the second part of ‘Baahubali’. After these two movies, Prabhas’ movie means ‘Pan India Movie’.
Prabhas played the title role in ‘Adipurush’, which is being directed by Om Raut based on Ramayana. The film will release on January 12 as a Sankranti gift. And Prabhas acted as ‘Salar’ under the direction of Prashanth Neel, who has created a craze for himself with ‘KGF’. This movie will be released in September next year. After this, Prabhas will also act in the time mission movie ‘Project K’ which is being directed by ‘Mahanati’ director Nag Ashwin. Once upon a time, people called Krishna Raja Oddoo as ‘Andhra Amitabh’. Now Prabhas, who is the successor of Krishna Raj, is acting with Amitabh Bachchan in his ‘Project K’! Thus, Prabhas is traveling by showing variety in each of his films. After completing these, it seems that Prabhas will act in the film ‘Spirit’. It is reported that the film will be released in Hindi, Japanese, Chinese and Korean languages along with southern languages. In any case, Prabhas is carrying out his film journey in accordance with the recognition of ‘First International Star of India’. Let’s hope that he will celebrate more birthdays with more joy and wow the masses.
