India beat Aussies in 2021 Test series in Australia. This is India’s second consecutive series win in Australia. India started the series very poorly but put a great end to it. Team India made history by winning the series by defeating the hosts at the Gabba Ground in Brisbane. Two young batsmen played fantastic innings for India in this match.
Opener Shubhman Gill and young wicket-keeper-batsman Rishabh Pant were instrumental in the team’s victory with half-centuries. Gill scored 91 in the second inning to lay the foundation for the team’s victory. Pant then went on to score an unbeaten 89 to help TeamIndia win. Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the team at the time, told a story about Jugalbandi. Shastri listened to them and told them to go to the bathroom saying ‘Lage Raho’.

Australia took a 33-run lead over India in the first innings of the match. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur scored 62 and 67 respectively. Australia were then bowled out for 294. India lost Rohit Sharma by a wicket. Cheteshwar Pujara along with Gill then pitched the Indian innings, after which Pant and Sundar won the toss and elected to bat. Under pressure, Sundar played a crucial 22-run innings.
