The India-Pakistan cricket match will be a thrill for both the countries. Its eyes are on the TVs. The two teams competed in this year’s T20 World Cup in Dubai. However, India lost the match. Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi hit India early in the match. Shaheen gave up 31 runs in four overs and took three wickets. However, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi revealed that the young pacer called him before the match against India. He said Shaheen made a “video-call” to him because he was under pressure.
“Before the first match against India, Shaheen made a video call to me and said, ‘I’m under some pressure. I talked to him for about 11-12 minutes. I told him that God had given you a chance. Go out and give a presentation. Take those wickets. Become a hero. ” Afridi said. Afridi recalled that during his playing days, Pakistan players did not sleep before the match against India. He said the pressure was always intense during the conflict between the two countries.
“We should not have slept before the match against India. Some players move to a corner, while others wait for a match. Personally, I’m looking forward to the match. ” Said Afridi. Pakistan, who topped Group B, reached the semifinals of the T20 World Cup, ending their defeat to Australia in the semis.
