Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan introduced himself to the Telugu audience with the movie Remo. This hero, who is riding high with consecutive blockbuster successes, is a complete entertainer ‘Prince’ directed by the talented director Anudeep KV. Maria Ryaboshapka is playing the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan in this Telugu and Tamil language movie. With the blessings of Narayan Das Narang, Sunil Narang, D. Suresh Babu and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao jointly produced the film under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanti Talkies. Hero Sivakarthikeyan shared the features of the film in a press conference in the background of the release of ‘Prince’ worldwide on October 21.
Sivakarthikeyan said.. ” As an artist, you want to entertain the audience by making films everywhere and get appreciation. When it comes to Prince.. Fun movies are decreasing. I love watching comedy movies. During this time I met Anudeep once through my friend. Loved his line. Later it became ‘Prince’. Prince is a universal subject. Both Telugu and Tamil audiences will like it. Dialogues and comedy are very organic. I saw Anudeep Jati Ratna. There is pure innocence in the characters Anudeep writes. Characters react in unexpected ways. The Prince story idea is very exciting. An Indian falls in love with a British girl. But the mind set of people in that village is different. They have a perfect mind set when it comes to love and marriage. The thought of breaking that mind set was very exciting. Sathyaraj’s role in this also excited me. Sathyaraj’s character tells his son, “Don’t marry a girl of our caste and religion.” This is a very unique character.
The Prince project was a challenge. Anudeep wrote in Telugu. We took the Telugu script into Tamil as a challenge and worked on it. The output is amazing. There is an idea to make bilingual films in the future as well. Vijay is doing a movie with Vamsi Paidipally. Also, Ram Charan – Shankar are working together. It is a very good development to make a film together in both industries. KGF, RRR, Vikram, Kanthara films received great success. The industry of the South is now in a great condition. After working in TV, I got into movies. I grew up as a solo hero playing small roles. Every experience has helped my career. I can’t forget the love shared by the audience in these ten years. Everyone wants to work with Rajamouli. I also like Trivikram and Sukumar’s movies. He said.
