Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh disagreed with bowling coach Bharat Arun’s comments that the situation would have been different if India had won the toss in the T20 World Cup. Arun made several comments on India’s final match in the T20 World Cup. Toss said that India lost due to bio-bubble fatigue. He cited the failure to win the toss as a reason to lose to Pakistan and New Zealand. However, Harbhajan Singh did not agree with Arun. Bajji clarified that the reason for India’s exit from the World Cup was poor performance. He said there were no other reasons. He recalled that the Chennai Super Kings batted first in the IPL but beat the Kolkata Knight Riders in the final.
“I heard Bharat Arun say that if India had won the toss, they would have done this and that. All that remains to be discussed later. It doesn’t matter if you want to bowl first or bat first. Did Chennai Super Kings, who batted first, win the IPL? They scored 190, so you have to run. We did not play well. We accept the fact that we did not live up to expectations, ”said Harbhajan.
