Ravindra Jadeja was born on December 6, 1988 in the village of Navgam Geed in Jamnagar, Gujarat.  His father was a security guard and his mother a nurse.  Jadeja's father always dreamed of becoming a senior officer in the army.  But he dreamed of becoming a cricketer.  His mother helped him a lot to make those dreams come true.  Unexpectedly, however, Jadeja died when she was 17 years old.  With this, Jadeja decided to leave cricket.  However his older sister encouraged him.  She stood by her younger brother and helped in making her dreams come true.
