A similar performance in Hyderabad on Thursday was impressive. Hyderabad beat Delhi by 79 runs in a Group C match based on a brilliant century by young batsman Tilak Verma.
Hyderabad batsman Tilak Verma, who was part of the Indian team in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, played an excellent innings and scored 139 off 123 balls. In this innings, Tilak scored 76 off just 15 balls with sixes and fours. His innings included 8 huge sixes and 7 fours.
Tilak shared a 152-run partnership with Chandan Sahni for the fourth wicket. Sahni scored 87 off 74 balls. In these two innings, Hyderabad scored 325 for 6 in the allotted 50 overs.
With this, the Delhi team was able to score only 249 runs for nine wickets. No batsman has scored a half century for the team. Himmat Singh 47, Anut Rawat 36 Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan, the most experienced batsman in the team, failed once again. He scored just 12 runs and was out.
