Virat Kohli vs BCCI: Former Indian cricket captain and former selection committee chief Dilip Vengsarkar has said that board president Sourav Ganguly should have spoken on the issue of Virat Kohli’s captaincy on behalf of the national selectors. In fact, before leaving for South Africa, India Test captain Virat Kohli told a news conference that he had made rebellious remarks that no one had asked the BCCI to reconsider his decision to step down from the T20 captaincy. In this regard, Vengsarkar said that it was the decision of the selection committee to select or remove the captain and that it would not fall under the purview of Ganguly.
