India were all out for 252 in their first innings and 339 in the second innings. However, Pakistan collapsed to 172 in their first innings. All out for 207 in the second innings.
Kumble took 4 wickets in the first innings. Mohammad Yusuf dismissed players like Inzamam-ul-Haq. However, he showed aggression in the second inning. The pavilion included 10 players from Pakistan. Ejaz Ahmed, Mohammad Yusuf, Saqlain Mustaqs were included in the Kumble Pavilion for Zero.
In the second innings of this Test match, Anil Kumble bowled 26.3 overs and scored 74 runs for the loss of 10 wickets. Kumble also bowled 9 maiden overs in this innings. India won the match by 212 runs.
